Mrs. Walker graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. degree

in Pre-Teaching and an M.S. degree in Curriculum and Instruction.  During

graduate school, she completed a year of internship at Blue Grass

Elementary teaching 1st and 5th grades.  She spent the next seven years

teaching 5th and 6th grade in the Knox County School District.  Her

interest in video projects and filmmaking led her to begin working on

various commercials and film projects for the next three years.  She has

worked on commercials for Goody’s, HGTV, Purina, Gatlinburg Tourism, and

more.  Much of her work has been local, but occasionally it has led her to

Minneapolis, Salt Lake City, Baltimore, and other areas working as PA,

camera operator, Producer, actress and more.  In August of 2006, she

accepted the position of Video Production Teacher at Vine Middle School.

Teaching Video Production allows her to combine two activities that she

loves, teaching students and working on video projects.
